FESSI (Forbo Entrance System Specialist Installer)

Naturally we want to do everything we can to ensure that the most effective and appropriate combination of products is always specified to meet the needs of each individual entrance area. We also want to ensure that these entrance flooring systems are always correctly installed to the highest possible standards to fulfil the customer's aspirations for their building.
This is why we have introduced FESSI: our national network of Forbo Entrance Systems Specialist Installers who are well qualified to advise you on every aspect of your entrance flooring system design, specification and installation.
FESSI contractors are independent companies, hand picked by Forbo on the basis of their experience in this important area of the flooring market and their commitment to deliver consistently high quality installations.
Each FESSI contractor has undertaken intensive CITB approved training on the installation of Forbo's entrance flooring systems, and under the guidance of experienced Nuway trainers has learnt how to specify and install the optimal scheme for every type of project. in order to gain approved FESSI contractor status they have had to demonstrate their ability to deliver demanding Nuway installations incorporating complex shaping and breakouts.
There are two levels of CITB training, FESSI Technician and FESSI Master Fitter. All participants have to achieve an 80% or 85% score respectively in order to pass the training and be accredited. All accredited FESSI installers will carry a FESSI ID card. Please see the example on the right.
