Marmoleum receives Cradle to Cradle Certificate
Marmoleum, Forbo’s own brand of linoleum, has recently been awarded the official Cradle-to-Cradle silver certificate, a multi-attribute eco-label that assesses a product’s safety to humans and the environment in addition to the design for future life cycles. With this accolade, Marmoleum, which has been produced for over 100 years, strengthens its status as one of the truly sustainable floor coverings available.

Marmoleum already complies with more environmental quality marks than any other flooring product in the world, including The Nordic Swan, Blue Angel, and Nature Plus labels to mention but a few. According to a LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study of the University of Leiden (Netherlands), Marmoleum is the most sustainable resilient floor covering in the world.
